One from China today!

Jack and I received a postcard from China today!

The card says it's the Rocky Cave Temple at Gongyi.  I tried to research this to find out a little more about it, but couldn't find anything about it.
If anyone knows anything about it's history, I'd love to hear it!

Hooray! Three postcards today!

Today we received three postcards!

The first one is from the Netherlands!
I have to say, this is probably one of my favorites!  I love tulips, they are my favorite flower and this picture is something much needed today after all of the rain and gloom we've had here in Connecticut!  Bright and cheery!!  Perfect!

The next two are from Germany!

It's a picture of The Old Nikolai Church in Frankfurt.  The double-aisle Early Gothic church was mentioned as early as 1264, but it is considerably older. Visitors enjoy its harmonic carillon with 47 bells.

This one is also from Germany.  Bayreuth is the town that Richard Wagner (a famous opera composer) lived and worked in.  The city center still possesses the typical structure of a Bavarian street market: the settlement is grouped around a road widening into a square; the Town Hall was located in the middle.

One postcard today!

Today, my son Jack got a postcard from a young lady in Taiwan!  She is a high school student and got the postcard while traveling to Yehliu.

It's named The Queen's Head.  It was formed by the sea winds!  Isn't it awesome!?!
